The solver uses a graph-constructive approach, and achieves interactive speed. First, the paper describes the architecture of STEP geometric constraints module, and the revised schema. Then, the paper reports on the analytic architecture of geometric constraints model, including cluster-forming analysis, degree freedom analysis, number of geometric constraints analysis and interference analysis, etc. Finally, the paper describes the inferential algorithms of geometric constraint model. Automatic construction of geometric constraints is also the emphasis of this thesis.
