碩士 === 中國文化大學 === 資訊管理研究所 === 88 === Information technology and Internet are growing so fast in recent years. Internet is used widely and gradually influences the educational activities. Many education experts have devoted to integrate the information technology and educational activities to provide better educational environment. More and more web-based computer assisted instruction（CAI）systems have been developed. Most of these systems are either lack of a complete courseware design or without the effect analysis. In addition, the problem of transmission bandwidth on Internet is often ignored. In this study, we develop a web-based CAI that teaches the electromagnetic unit of junior high school. We have followed the complete courseware design cycle and used the newest wed-programming technologies. The system has been tested on junior high schools. The system have significant effects on the schools. It improves the learner’s willing in study.
