End of the 20th century, the whole world information that be stride across national boundaries with continuously develop and the Internet that connect with each other, and under this information framework, it was combined with the tip image equipment to collapse invisible wall in the life. The image character that virtual and deliver easily to make the whole worldview be built up gradually, and if the street develop in this concept that make human depart from two-dimensional tour route, the space character of street has extreme possible to break original linear framework.
The image movement of Deleuze
The image movement has certain similarity and relation with shophouse. Deleuze borrow H. Bergson’s concept, which in accordance with the time axle of the movie development. He was considered that the image movement could be divided into two parts roughly. One is movement-image, and the other is crystal-image. And the movement-image that was the derivative that from the point of view of design can also be divided into four parts. One is framing, one is deframing, one is shot movement, and the other is false-continuity.
The connection & recombination in the units of the shophouse
After the vehicle available to all, the role of the street has produced partition and edge strongly. Because the vertical partition cut off the continuity in space, the space content in shophouse can’t get more effective use in limited bar shape plan. So to solve these questions and not destroy urban context and the characteristic in shophouse, in this design, I will excavate the possible of the horizontal and vertical recombination in story units, and to make the twin win between the owner and the user of shophouse.
