Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 土木與防災技術研究所 === 88 === The impact to the society from the hazard of foundation engineering is enormous . The large the hazard area is , the more surrounding building are damaged ,and the more the compansation is . The scale of the hazardous area is related to the failure mode of underground construction . Since soft clay deposit is frequently encountered , the heaving problem along with the damaged adjacent structure is also expected . Two dimensional numerical analysis is usually used to study the deep excavation problem , and to predict the deformation of diaphragm wall and the settlement of surrounding ground surface . Although 2-D software is simple and convenient , its inherent limitation and construction uncertainty result in many researchers to take the discount on the stiffness of strut and diaphragm wall . This way of modeling is deviated from the reality . A three dimensional finite difference software FLAC3D is used to analyze a construction site . The soil foundation is modeled with an Modified Cam-clay constitutive law whose parameters are calibrated from soil testing results . The surrounding building and excavation procedure are modeled and analyze the deflection of wall and settlement of surrounding ground . The numerical results are compared with monitoring results to evaluate the feasibility to use this 3-D software to model the deep excavation problem
