Description
Summary:碩士 === 淡江大學 === 土木工程學系 === 88 === Sludge treatment cement (STC), a newly developed material, may be as a soil stabilizer. In this research, the STE was utilized at different proportions to modify the engineering properties of the Lin-kuo laterite. There are seven different combinations of the laterite-STE mixtures in this research. The STE content ranges from 0 to 30% in the mixture by dry weight. The effect of the curing method and curing time are also studied. The conclusions resulted from this study include: 1. The strength of the mixtures increases with the curing time and the percentage of the STE. Specimens directly cured in the water have the lowest strength. 2. Both the cohesion and the friction angle increase with the content of the STE. 3. Both the compressibility and the swelling potentials decrease when the STE is utilized.
