碩士 === 淡江大學 === 教育資料科學學系 === 88 === This study analyzes and synthesizes the trends and applications of information technology in educational systems from Taiwan’s perspective to abroad. Furthermore, this study proceeds to design a set of teaching materials that accommodate the needs of information technology educational curriculum in the future.Several educational backgrounds and methods are considered into design, such as: principles of instructional systems design (ISD), textbook liberation policy, Nine-Year integrative curriculum education reform, and technology-enhanced curriculum policy. This study designs and develops a set of teaching materials package in a diverse, systemic, and congruous format for elementary school information technology education, throughout the processes of needs assessment, objectives analysis, curriculum design and development, as well as pilot teaching evaluation. The whole package includes teaching materials and teacher’s guide by units, study guides by units, WWW instructional resource website, which providing a set of information technology curriculum for 3rd, 4th, 5th and 6th elementary-school teachers and students. This study is important, because it has established a model of developing textbook and its related website for elementary school information technology education, as well as promoted skills in information technology for the elementary school students in Taiwan.
