The heterodyne signal was generated only when the scattering photons were partially polarized and the spatial coherence was not seriously degraded after propagating in turbid media. To combine the polarization discrimination and the optical coherence detection imaged the object in scattering medium was demonstrated. The scattering medium was the polystyrene microsphere solution of 1.072 mm in diameter that was suspended in water in 10 mm thickness. The optical system which performs the advantages of better selectivity of the weakly partial polarized scattering photons and higher signal to noise ratio (SNR) is discussed.
