The subject of this thesis extends this technique into the near-infrared region around the wavelength 1.55 . This mechanism supports the computer-based imaging reconstruction, using Fast Fourier Transform (FFT) to evaluate the Fresnel diffraction integral, in which the encoded hologram as the diffraction aperture has been digitized as the input data, and the output values stand for the reconstructed images. In the experimental part, a near-infrared encoded hologram is recording system has been constructed. The near-infrared encoded hologram is recorded by an InGaAs detector which is held by the penholder of a plotter, and scanned across the hologram plane. The near-infrared image is reconstructed by a program simulated Fresnel diffraction with the encoded hologram as the diffraction aperture. By computer-based imaging reconstruction process, we get 3D digital images. This imaging mechanism not only applies to near-infrared, but also to any electromagnetic wave. Then it expands human vision to X-ray, -ray and so on.
