| Summary: | 碩士 === 中國醫藥學院 === 醫務管理研究所 === 89 === During the past two decades, the aging people have grown increasingly in Taiwan. Therefore, the operation of nursing home has burgeoned in Taiwan. To improve the efficiency of operation in nursing home, the application of modern management skills and the establishment of a new information system are necessary.
By using Balance Score Card, this study integrated all information to develop an efficiency information system for hospital-based nursing home. This information system not only provides the executives of nursing home the most updated information but also enables the executives to monitor daily operating activities.
By reviewing literature, this study has summarized the current status of nursing home in Taiwan (its characteristics, development and the future goal). Consulting with the executive of nursing home, this study combined the mission of nursing home with balance score card to establish a suitable information system and Executive Information System (EIS) for nursing home.
