Summary:碩士 === 義守大學 === 材料科學與工程學系 === 89 === Abstract The objective of this dissertation is mainly to analyse and discuss the TMCP and the traditional HT steel plate. By applying different heat input welding , we can successfully confirm their weldability , hardness , and toughness , therefore , evaluate their differences of mechanical properties. The results show that the content and Ceq of TMCP is much lower than that of traditional HT steel plate , which means it’s not necessary preheat during welding , and there is also no such problem as cold—cracking at the heat-effected zone. Besides , it’s much easier for welding and saves a lot of working time and cost . When welding with higher heat input, it is not necessary to preheat for the TMCP too. Therefore , we believe that the weldability and mechanical peopertie of TMCP are much superior to those of traditional HT steel plate. Other results show that the hardness of TMCP will not be affected by high heat input welding and there is also no obvious softening problem occurred at the welding heat effected zone. TMCP is able to improve the crack sensitivity of hot-cracking during welding. The micro structure of TMCP is much finer. Therefore , it has higher toughness than the traditional one’s. From the above results , TMCP is much more superior to the traditional HT steel plate when applying to the building structure.
