The model is based on the two-dimensional depth-averaged dynamic equations and sediment transport equations. The multi-grid method is applied to improve the efficiency of the model.
The characters of the flow field and bed evolution are simulated under several different influence factors. The simulated results of maximum bed shear stresses and bed scouring are compared with the experiment data. The study modifies some coefficients of the model; it makes the simulated flow characters are more accuracy in comparing with the experiment data. The tendencies of the local scouring results are similar to the experimental dada too.
