Collagen particles can be obtained as microparticles through emulsified methods. To obtained particle sizes in narrow range, the following conditions should be controlled well, such as 1:20 water/oil ratio, 5% Span 80, optimal stirring for 60 min, 5.85 mg/mL collagen solution. With the dropping method, larger collagen particles can be obtained by dropping 1.95 ~ 5.85 mg/mL collagen solution into 1, 2.5, 10 mg/mL sodium alginate, chondroitin sulfate A or chondroitin sulfate C solution, or 0.25 mg/mL sodium hyaluronate solution. The yield was around 90 ~ 100%, when using 1 mg/mL chondroitin sulfate C solution, or 1 or 2.5 mg/mL sodium alginate solution in the dropping method. The average particle sizes were 3.43 ± 0.29 mm, 2.79 ± 0.27 mm and 2.28 ± 0.17 mm when various sizes of 18G, 23G and 26G needles were used in the dropping method. The developed collagen particles can be applied in wounds or drug delivery systems. 黃玲惠 2001 學位論文 ; thesis 0 zh-TW
