This study discusses the B2C electonic commerce’s impacts to the freight transportation industry.at first,we investigate the internet on-line stores’ kinds of products, characters of products, delivering days and delivering requirements.through the merchandise’s factors like price, item, volume, and product’s life cycle ,we can conclude that the postal service has the largest market share and the best developing situation. time definite common carriers are fitable for high value, large volume and merchandises which life cycles are short.the express companys have better chances in merchandises which have high value, small volume and short life cycle. Basically, the internet B2C market brings more business for the transportation freights’ industry.but the volume change for each origion and destnation are more unpredictable. considering this factor, we modle the problem into the math problems with probabilistic factor.we use the time definite common carrier’s operation network as numberical example.the conclusion is that we increase the same margin of volumes but overall operation cost’s increment will be higher each time we increase.and if we consider every o-d pairs’ probability condition more circumstantial and other factors unchanged ,we will have a lower overall operation cost.
