Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 地球科學系 === 89 === Abstract The rocks exposed at Wanjung area consists of greenschist, blackschist, serpentinite and metabasic rocks. Greenschist is composed of amphibole, chlorite, garnet, albite, quartz, epidote, calcite. Blackschist is composed of quartz, plagioclase, amphibole, chlorite, muscovite, biotite. Serpentinite is composed of serpentine, amphible, chlorite, carbonate and magnetite. Metabasic rock is composed of amphibole, zoisite, plagioclase, chlorite, pyroxene, sphene and omphacite. The chemical compositions of chlorite are various in different rock types. Mg content of chlorite is highest in serpentinite, and lowest in blackschist, while Fe content is highest in blackschist, lowest in serpentinite. The metamorphic facies reduced from mineral assemblage, chemical composition of plagioclase and hornblende is epidote amphibolite facies. The epidote amphibolite is over printed by greenschist facies as evident by hornblende replaced by actinolite, and garnet replaced by chlotite.
