Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 建築學系 === 89 === In this thesis the real earthquake damage of window and emergency door as well as the seismic performance of fixed window and emergency door under repeatedly cyclic load have been investigated. The results were adopted to discuss the criteria of performance based seismic design of building. Six steel emergency doors and nine windows were made to conduct the experimental study. According to the emergency door test, five damage levels could be observed: Ⅰ.Relative floor-displacement less then 0.4%, the test door could be opened easily . Ⅱ.Relative floor-displacement between 0.4%~0.5%, the door got clogged a little bit. Ⅲ.Relative floor-displacement between 0.5%~0.7%,the door was clogged heavily, and door lock was clogged a little. Ⅳ.Relative floor-displacement between 0.7%~1.1%, door and lock were clogged heavily. Ⅴ.Relative floor-displacement great than 1.1%,the door lock was clogged and the framework of door was squeezed seriously. The test results also show relative displacement angle 0.5% is a critical deformation, which will cause door clogged and introduce secondary damage during earthquake. How to improve this problem to match the performance requirement of building design should be noted. According to the test of fixed glass window, followings are concluded: Ⅰ.The seismic performance of slim-shape window is better than short-squat shape window. Ⅱ.The window glass will not so easy to split when it is thick. Ⅲ.Window glass with leeway space along the boundary will provide better performance. Ⅳ.During earthquake the distance that crush glass spreading around could be twice of the window height. However the relative displacement angle of window framework is about 2%, which satisfies the performance requirement of ordinary building structure.
