Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 建築學系 === 89 === This thesis tries to use Foucault’s historical method --- Archaeology and Genealogy method, to process the possibility of cross-field study of human sciences and architecture. First, from the main writings of Foucault, I want to analysis the speciality of Foucault’s archaeology and genealogy method to human sciences studies. It includes the concepts of Discipline, Punish, Surveillance, Will to Power, and the relations of Discourse and Non-discoursive practices. And the same time, I’ll focus on the productive relations of knowledge and power and investigate Foucault’s non-subjective view of power , historic viewpoint of eventualization and strategy. And try to stand on the basis of ‘the body of architecture’ to make a transformation from Foucault’s theory to architecture. Second, from this view, this thesis will reconstruct a history between Jin-ja during Japanese Colonial period and Martyrs'' Shrine at postwar. In Japanese colonial period, Taiwan Jin-ja was according to Japanese national Sinto system; from a national Sinto belief that was embedding in Taiwan intentionally after colonized era, and also be a symbol of the operation of national technology of power. After nationalist government came to Taiwan, they destroyed the buildings which left by Japanese. Most of these are not exist now, and the less were reconstructing to be Martyrs'' Shrine of nationalist government. Both of Martyrs'' Shrine and Jin-ja belong to symbolic architectures of the operation of national power technology, from this historical transformation of Martyrs'' Shrine to Jin-ja, I will use Foucault’s theory and method to re-investigate the declaration of power which emerged on the different engraved Genealogy of “Descent” and “Emergence” of Jin-ja and Martyrs'' Shrine from Japanese colonial period to nationalist government, and make architecture to be a operated and controlled body, and a concrete symbol of politic power technology. Last, this thesis hope to built a possibility about historic writing, and a power archaeology and genealogy of architecture.
