| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 建築學系 === 89 === In virtue of international conferences like the 1992 “UN Conference Environment and Development” in Brazil, the 1996 “Human Settlement Conference” in Turkey, “World Conference Climate Chang 2000” in Netherlands, the whole world has paid attention to global environment issues. Significantly, sustainable development issues have become the most important lesson worldwide. Taiwan has founded “ Sustainable Development Committee of the Country” in 1996. Executive Yuan gives high rank to green building in “Sustainable Urban and Rural Development Policy” and passed “The program to advance green building policy”. In response to green building and sustainable development, the design of dwelling service facilities should go beyond just satisfying our basic living demands. Energy resources saving and environment protection should be taken into consideration when dealing with dwelling service facilities.
This study demonstrates the two conclusions below:
1.Establishes an Assessment Frame of Urban Fwelling Service Facilities According to the Issues of Sustainable Development.
This study collects definitions and conceptions concerning sustainable development among references. Secondly, to fill special requirements of urban dwellings, this research establishes an assessment frame of urban dwelling service facilities according to issues of sustainable development. Furthermore, it focuses on the possibility of applying sustainable development to urban dwelling service facilities in three categories: “The performance of basic living demands”, “The performance of green environmental consciousness” and “The performance of adaptation in the future”.
2.Investigates the current conditions of sustainable development to urban dwelling service facilities.
This study investigates the current urban dwelling service facilities base on the assessment frame, and arrange the data by the three categories stated above for the basic reference data of further sustainable development tactic.
