Subjects were screened by body fat indicator and in accordance with Body Mass Index (BMI). There were 76 boys and 54 girls from the obese group and 80 boys and 64 girls from non-obese group, total of 274 students participated in this study. All of the participants’ performances were recorded in a three-day physical activity recalling table. Every participant took physical fitness tests such as sitting and bending forward, one minute sit-ups with bended knees, standing-long jump, 800 meter running. Every physical fitness test was done in accordance with the regulations of Department of Education.
The results were analyzed by SPSS software with significant level of α=0.05. The results were as follows:

b. Girls from the non-obese group had a significantly higher physical activity level than those in obese group.
c. As for body mass index (BMI) and percentage of body fat, boys and girls in the obese group were significantly higher than those in non-obese group.
d. As for measurements of health-related physical fitness such as cardiovascular endurance, explosive force, muscular endurance and flexibility, non-obese group was significantly better than obese group.
e. Physical activity level showed an inverse relationship with BMI revealed a direct relationship with other health-related physical fitness. However, no significant differences in flexibility were found.
In conclusion, the students in the obese group show inferior performance in health-related physical fitness and lack for physical activities. Therefore, the students are encouraged to participate in physical exercises more often.
