For more understandings of the students'' interests in ecology curriculum, we used the qualitative method to do this research. We studied about 450 students at the Taichung Second Sensior High School, and those students have studied the basic biology (ecology curriculum) before. The data come from the students achievement test questionaire and interviews, we analyze those data and use the traintulation to correct the data, and induce the results. Results shows that at least 70% of students have interests in ecology curriculum. In those curriculum, they are most interested in the part that related to daily life and local things, such as local ecology, eco-environment, resource problems and conservation of the nature. Besides, they care much about the things like the eco-environment becomes worse. The students'' interests would increase after teaching of those curriculum. We also find out that the students'' achievement tests had positive corelation with their interests. In other side, we also find out that in this calss, the students'' favorite teachersoften use the teaching techniques such as outdoor teaching, expirement, observation of the nature and audio-visual education.
