Summary:碩士 === 國立臺北大學 === 企業管理學系 === 89 === Abstract The formulation of “Network Relationship” is quite natural for industries. “Network Relationship” helps create corporate performance and competitive advantages. The motherboard industry in Taiwan can be one of the good examples to be looked through. This research examines the significance of “network relationship” of the motherboard industry in Taiwan. Three key players─ASUS, GIGABYTE and MSI were selected as the case to be reviewed and studied. Some important issues addressed in this research included : 1.The industry environment and company itself profoundly affect the management and performance of network relationship. 2.In the process of network relationship development, there are different ways of relations management at each stage. 3.Formal (referring to contract or other legal bonding) and informal relationship (referring to interpersonal relationship) both affect the management and performance of network relationship. Finally, this research came up with four comments: 1.Every kind of relationship will all create benefit/performance. 2.Use informal relationship to create benefit and avoid the problems result from informal relationship. 3.Improve management of network relationship can create performance and reach the goals. 4.The management of network relationship is vital to business operation of a corporation.
