The DSP direct torque control system of three-phase induction motor has been practically implemented by assembly language programming and hardware circuit construction. The theory of direct torque control was based on the fundamental concepts of three-phase induction motor. This approach is different form field oriented control method. So that the stator-rotor coordinates transformation as well as the decoupling calculation of phase voltage and current can be replaced with direct analysis and control of magnetic flux and torque by direct torque control method. The space vector modulation is also well utilized in the direct torque control system and makes three-phase induction motor control become more direct and effective. The DSP direct torque control system in this thesis was implemented by the integration of TMS320F240 DSP assembly language programming, Visual Basic language monitoring-control software programming and 15KHz switching frequency three phase driving circuit construction. Assembly language programming method and hardware circuit construction process was presented.
