The discharging process was regarded as the lineal superposition of transient phenomenon of the early discharging stage and the stable discharging stage. These phenomena were further discussed and quantitative information was provided. At last, by using the mathematical law of the residual energy indicator developed from the battery resistances, the vehicle movements standards of SFUDS and CNS-D3029 was simulated experimentally and the residual energy indicator of ampere-hour was compared..
