Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立臺灣科技大學 === 營建工程系 === 89 === Based on elastic dynamic torsional analysis, the objectives of this research is to study the inelastic torsional effect of structure through the combination of translation vibration ux, torsional vibration ur and correlation coefficient ρ.Fifteen artificial earthquake inputs are used to investigate the torsional effect of one-story structure with mass eccentricity. The research parameters include uncoupled torsional-to-lateral frequency ratio(Ω), mass eccentricity(e/r), different configuration of structures( b/r ), structure period( T ), ductility(μ). The findings are: (1)The normalized translational displacement Ux decrease with an increase of e/r. (2)The normalized torsional displacement Ur increase with an increase of e/r. (3)correlation coefficient ρ increase with an increase of e/r. (4)The normalized corner displacement Ucm shows no obvious regular relation with e/r. (5)b/r has a big influence in inelastic dynamic analysis, for example, Ucm increases with an increase of b/r. (6)The normalized torsional displacement Ur for short period structure is higher than those for medium and long period structure. (7)The normalized torsional displacement Ur decrease with an increase of μ. (8)In general, static analysis>elastic dynamic analysis>inelastic dynamic analysis. Therefore, the torsional effect recommended by UBC Code is mostly conservative.
