The most popular way is using coupling agent which can stabilize the connection between the hydrophilic and hydrophobic interfaces. After the couple agent are mixed with organic resin, it needs to adhere to the interface. Hence, we must know the diffusion coefficient to properly predict, control and develop a good surface to form the good composite material.Diffusivities of three kinds of silane with different functional groups, namely, amine, epoxy and alkyl groups, were investigated in this study. By measuring the time dependent changes of the dynamic surface tension of silane-added epoxy resin, we can understand their mass transfer diffusion behavior. Diffusion coefficients were thereafter determined bye combining the Langmuir adsorption theory and diffusion theory.
