碩士 === 東海大學 === 建築學系 === 89 === This study attempts to explore the compositional system of the iron & steel framework, which could be use and generate by later researcher, and architecture designers. The foundation of the research consists of three parts: 1.The design and construction drawings of the frameworks. 2. The basic date accumulated from field survey on the amount and types of the frameworks and their geographical distribution. 3.The analysis of the design construction processes interview of the engineers and architects participating in the railroad-station construction. Afterwards, by contribution the classification of the framework can spread into two kind of formative, which are “Frame System” and “Connect System”. And interwork to each other. Following above-mentioned, the structure systems and their various type are discussed, including (1) simple type: distributed in middle to small-scale railroad stations. (2) complex type: distributed in middle to large-scale railroad stations. (3) special type: affected by particular space functions. By the systematization, the final submission are “frame span ,district ,time period” , and confer all kind of the frameworks。 This study attempts to find the most forceful research center. By way of the systematization study of the iron & steel frameworks, we can specific describe, explain, and infer the invariable architectural knowledge. Through the application of the research results, we can represent types which may have disappeared or may not exist in the past.
