碩士 === 國立臺北科技大學 === 土木與防災技術研究所 === 89 === Abstract The construction industry due to diversity of work category and variability of working environments, and the main contractors are often divided into many subcontractors, and thus form complicated contracting relationship. This circumstance is disadvantageous to execute safety hygiene management of contractors. And the construction hazard is always on the highest ranking of all trades. Therefore, it is important how to decrease construction hazard and to reinforce the construction safety hygiene management of contractors. For decrease the construction hazard, this study is to explore and discuss from the viewpoint of current safety hygiene management and institutional issue. In the meantime, we collect related information to develop an assistant program based on the present statutes and regulations. This assistant program has been executed in 30 construction sites in Taiwan, and to advance the cognition of safety hygiene management and general regulation for construction sites. Furthermore, by means of the visit of sites and the process of questionnaire, we can find out the blind points. After analysis, we can solve the problems and suggest some feasible strategies to the government authorities and contractors. We hope this study will substantially help construction safety hygiene management to minimize construction hazard.
