The study is to find: (1) the understanding of the vocational high school career planning and curriculum implementation. (2) the understanding of reasonableness of vocational high school curriculum content of career planning. (3) the understanding of the current situation of curriculum implementation. (4) the understanding of the problems of the vocational high school curriculum implementation. (5) the investigation improvements of vocational high school curriculum of career planning. The methods applied on this study are documental analysis, expert interview, and questionnaires. Firstly, the purpose of the study is to gather worldwide documents related to the vocational high school curriculum content of career planning, and make some expert meetings about the reasonableness of the curriculum content of career planning. Secondly, the purpose is to understand the theory of curriculum implemented to make some questionnaires on the teachers and school affair staff which are from 187 vocational high schools in Taiwan. There are 412 copies of questionnaires which were reclaimed with a validity of 90.2%. And the questionnaires which were analyzed afford the data as follows: 1.Improve the career planning ability of the students with different oriented personalities by education and training. 2.The 1st grade students in vocational school shall focus on the career-oriented investigation, the 2nd grade students shall focus on professional techniques, and the 3rd grade students shall have abilities to establish the career objects for the future. 3.The objects of career planning curriculum shall match future teaching materials and shall consist of planning of entering higher schools. 4.The implementation of career planning curriculum intend to a way of two credits in one semester and should not be arranged in spring semester of the 3rd grade. 5.The implementation of the career planning curriculum combining with activities will get high efficiency and interest the students. 6.Some characteristics of career planning curriculum should be expanded into curriculum notes. 7.There are 61 sections which belong to seven categories offering career planning curricula which range more than which the Ministry of Education offering. 8.The career planning curriculum should be obligatory course and prefer to be offered as two credits courses in autumn semester in the 3rd grade. 9.The career planning curriculum offered in business category fit which the Ministry of Education suggesting to offer much more than other categories. 10.The offering of the career planning curriculum should focus on the opinions of the primary level and should also consider what the students will get. 11.The career planning curricula will be taught by the adviser teachers which play the roles of advisers and instructors. 12.The supporting by the administration officers will influence the implementation of career planning curricula.
