It facilitates to create neuron networks in their brains. Such a network may affect the infants’ whole lives. Therefore, it is important to make a careful plan and provide an appropriate play to infants as a way of early-childhood education. In addition, it is important to provide appropriate toys and/or playing tools to infants at each developmental stage in order to facilitate their physical and psychological development. The present thesis analyzes how important to provide appropriate toys based on the infants’ development, and how they affect the infants’ psychological development by analyzing theories on Brain Physiology, Infant Physiology, and Infant Psychology. The study concludes that the infants’ playing activities are not merely what they appear to be based on the analysis of related theories and careful observation of their playing activities. Therefore, parents need to know how infants’ bodies and brains develop at each stage, and always need to be conscious of what their children are interested in by carefully observing their daily lives. From the age of 0 to 3, when the brain develops most, parents as well as any other responsible persons should watch and support the infants’ play by facilitating appropriate activities and providing appropriate toys. The supports facilitate development of neuron networks of the infants’ brains, improvement of physical functions of their bodies, development of both cognitive and affective functions of the their brains, and finally creation of ideal relationships between parents and children.
