For the genetic algorithm, beside the operators of simple genetic algorithm (SGA) which includes reproduction, crossover, and mutation, the Pareto GA also comprises niche and Pareto-set filter operator. These two operators and gene therapy etc. could increase the performance and capability of our program for this study. Before researching, we firstly adopt two equations with three functions to ensure the architecture and performance of the Pareto GA section within our program, and then apply an frequently used engineering example, the four-bar plane truss structure, to verify the correction of the whole architecture and organization of our program.
