碩士 === 國立雲林科技大學 === 工業設計系碩士班 === 89 === The study is aimed at identifying the network users’ needs in communicating with each other through the network from the viewpoints of industrial design. Furthermore, the current situations and trends of designer’s concept communication will be compared through the framework of the Virtual Design Studio. The authors intended to explore the interface operation problems designers will have in the new network environment under the premise of keeping the strengths of designer’s traditional way of communication without affecting the characteristics of designers’ activities. The properties of interface operation in the future virtual design studio will be investigated with several simulation prototypes for design studio environment. Userability problems will be measured in the study to understand the contribution such kind of Thoery Methods of Design.
