Video-conferencing, Voice, Data and Image are the traffic types we adopted in this thesis, and each traffic types have defined a different range of data length for transmission. For the allocation algorithm of the integrate services, we consider that to set the precedence order for different traffic types are advantageous to system performance. For QoS's (quality of service) guarantee, the traffic access is based on the Packet Reservation Multiple Access (PRMA) protocol. We investigate a scheme by introducing two loading threshold used to control the resource exploitation. We present simulation results to show the performance of our system. It is evaluated in terms of blocking probability, reject probability and channel utilization under various conditions ─ diverse processing time of different waiting queues, compare the performance among the different size of two threshold (Lheavy,Llight), and compare with the allocation algorithm without forecast algorithm.
