The discussion consists of three topics. The first is to develop an algorithm for the measurement of target distance and speed. The second topic involves the application of adaptive filter to remove or cancel various noises, which interfere with detection of the targets. The objective of the third topic is to solve the problem of co-channel interference, which usually causes the false alarms. Altogether, this study solves various problems that the FMCW Radar encounters. We also improve the Radar’s performance in speed and distance measurement by DSP technology.
