Precision machine almost has rotational spindle that will cause error from run-out when it rotates. The error of run-out will affect the accuracy of product during mechanical processing. It was the large effect when the unit of measurement is μm in precise mechanism now. So we must know the error of run-out when spindle rotates in mechanism before mechanical processing. The purpose of study is to measure the spindle run-out for micro-spindle with image measurement technique. Before the spindle run-out measuring, we need to do the static measure test in advance to confirm the system be reliable, stable and accurate. The test items include stability of image, the angle of light, the illumination of light, the angle of image object, the measurement of one object from the other, the correctness of focus, and so on.
