In this thesis, we propose a scheme for reducing computation loads efficiently, and exploit it to implement multichannel digital up/down converters.The converters contains two important modules including the Frequency Shifting Interpolation Module (FSI) and the Frequency Shifting Decimation Module (FSD). Two systems, the multichannel digital up/down converters, are implemented by way of using Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA). During design process, we may reduce system complexity and raise system speed as best we can. Then we can reach requirements of multistage and the goal for generating intermediate frequency signal.
