Description
Summary:碩士 === 元智大學 === 資訊社會學研究所 === 89 === Network analysis has provided a unique viewpoint to social impact i.e., if the two persons’ social networks overlap, their behaviors are mutually influenced. In other words, the changes of the behavior and attitude of one person may strongly depend upon those of another, However, in reality, the influence could be varied. What is the under lying mechanism by which the social network influences two people? In the present study, the attempt is to understand the process of personal networking among employment service staffs of city government and to explain whether the social network i.e., consultant network and emotional network may affect the computer attitude including application, learning and value estimation among them. We try to establish a model, which can describe the computer attitude embedded in social network in order to further investigate the influence of social network on computer attitude. The result reveals that the social network has obviously negative influence to the computer attitude. It seems to suggest that the influence between social network and computer attitude may not be a one-way or a cause- result relationship. Since the characteristic of social network is inter-connected, the behavior and attitude should be also mutually affected. This result seems to be consistent with the mechanism of anti-contagion proposed by Bovasso (1996). Structural cohesion , structural equivalence ,homogeneity or heterogeneity which can strengthen or weaken the attitude, respectively, together with the character and influence of informative networks and trust networks would be an also an important subject for further study.
