Accordingly, the research on DS-CDMA and its related topics is very essential. Firstly, the ordered statistic theory is applied to study the hybrid diversity combining technical (2nd order/ or 3rd order combining, 2SC/ or 3SC). The numberical results also validated by comparing with the conventional combining schemes, for examples, maximum ratio combin-ing (MRC), equal gain combining (EGC), and conditional selection com-bining (SC) etc. There exist more diversity gain for 2SC/3SC when the number of receiving is large ( ). Then, the average bit error rate (BER) for DS-CDMA communication systems, equipped with Rake receiver, working in constant or exponential correlation model with correlated Nakagami fading is also evaluated in this thesis. The BER performance can be degraded large more than 2 dB when the constant correlation char-acteristics exist diversity branch. Finally, the performance of channel ca-pacity is also calculated in this thesis. Both of the single and multiple cel-lular environments are assumed. The propagation channel is including ar-bitrary fading parameters and Nakagami identical, independent distribution (i, i, d). The affect parameters in channel capacity all checked and analyzed in the numerical results.
