Our strategy caches the location information of the callee's LA from the previous call. And we reuse the saving information to reduce the cost of the call delivery. Besides, we use the forwarding pointer to reduce the cost of the updating database. And the length of the forwarding pointer chain is adjusted according to the value of the CMR. If the CMR is high, the length of the forwarding pointer chain is short. On the other hand, if the CMR is high, the length of the forwarding pointer chain becomes long. In the simulation results, the CMR-based dynamic forwarding strategy has better performance than the basic and caching strategies whether the CMR is low or high.
