Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 資訊工程研究所 === 90 === The aim of this dissertation is to introduce a convenient and efficient strategy to transform a file made by Tex/Latex system into an equivalent Microsoft PowerPoint file. In this dissertation, we announce two new systems, Tex2Ppt and AOELA (Agent of e-Learning Appliance). Tex2Ppt can be used to strengthen the weakest part of the Microsoft products; that is inconvenient and unfriendly mathematical equation editing. We transform the most popular Tex/Latex source files into equivalent PowerPoint files. Hence, we can make good use of not only the mighty typesetting functionality of Tex/Latex, but also the convenient presentation utility of PowerPoint. Meanwhile, companion with Tex2Ppt is the AOELA, a multimedia integrated instruction editor/viewer for distant learning environment. It enhances the produced files of Tex2Ppt by synchronizing them with corresponding video clips as computer assisted instructions. Our major contributions are that a useful transforming strategy was proposed for saving time and that the transformed files can be integrated into computer assisted instructions for improving and realizing the concept of e-Learning.
