Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立中正大學 === 電機工程研究所 === 90 === Bluetooth is a standard for low cost, low power, short-range radio communications. This thesis describes about how the Bluetooth wireless devices to access IP networking. The current IP over Bluetooth solution know as the LAN Profile is based on the serial cable replacement protocol RFCOMM. The LAN Profile is a protocol stack composed of IP, PPP, RFCOMM, L2CAP, over the Host Controller. We have implemented this solution on Linux, and compare to another LAN Access structure IP over Bluetooth. The IP over Bluetooth is a protocol stack composed of IP, L2CAP, over the Host Controller. The RFCOMM layer is removed from Bluetooth protocol stack in IP over Bluetooth structure. This one we have implemented, too. Then we have give a ping testing to these two structures, some results based on tests performed in the laboratory environment are also presented in this thesis.
