No one has done domestic research related to staff’s attitudes toward money, especially in the area of organizational behavior. In that case staff’s attitudes toward money is the main point in this research and the relationship among staff’s attitudes toward money, personality trait, job performance and turnover will be examined. The data of this study was collected from staff in managerial and R&D related departments in N company. There are two populations in the study: one is still on the job; the other has quit. 80 questionnaires were distributed to staff on the job and 72 questionnaires were returned, the returned rate was 90% ; 240 questionnaires were distributed to the staff who has quit and 28 questionnaires were returned, the returned rate was only 12%. 96 questionnaires are useful of these 100 returned ones. The analysis methods in this study are correlation analysis and regression analysis. The results are shown below: 1. Money ethic attitude (evil) was positively significant to job performance. 2. Money ethic attitude (evil) was negatively significant to turnover. 3. Conscientiousness was positively significant to job performance. 4. Agreeableness was negatively significant to turnover. 5. A significant correlation was identified among money ethic attitude and personality trait. We can find that money ethic attitude and personality trait were significant to job performance and turnover according to the data analysis of this study, the authority should design and employ suitable recruiting tools in order to improve staff’s job performance and to decrease their turnover. 黃正雄 2002 學位論文 ; thesis 63 zh-TW
