Summary:碩士 === 長庚大學 === 電機工程研究所 === 90 === This thesis uses the floating-point DSP TMS320C31 to develop a three-phase overcurrent relay. The response time from fault current sampling to output tripping needs only 40 mS. The range of operation frequency is within 55 to 65 Hz. The tripping characteristic is built according to the international standard rule IEC 255-4 which contains inverse-time and define-time characteristics. Finally, a nearly commercially available prototype is built. The test results are given for verification.
