碩士 === 中華大學 === 科技管理研究所 === 90 === Array、Cell、Module are the three major processes of TFT-LCD manufacturing. The Array and module process industries are well developed. The related supports they need in all respects are abundant. The cell process is the essence of TFT-LCD. However , almost all important process technologies are controlled by Japan and Korea. Not only the people who are good at this field is rare, but the related management support systems don’t nearly exist in Taiwan. In a fully-run TFT-LCD fab , How to control all these panels effectively? How to collocate material flow and information flow appropriately? All these challenges are testing the capabilities of production management all the time. The key subject of this paper will focus on analyzing and systemizing the production information management in Cell process of TFT-LCD .The first step is to have interviews or discussions with those people working in production line in order to collect any problems they encountered. Then, all these problems are classified according to the production flows and the influences they caused. After that, an improvement suggestion was proposed. Through this problem- solving procedure, TFT-LCD manufacturers can find the best operating rules to establish a production management system for production line.
