Description
Summary:碩士 === 中華大學 === 資訊工程學系碩士班 === 91 === Every stage of the semiconductor manufacturing, from upstream design to downstream packaging and testing, can be operated independently. Manufacturers can look for the most suitable manufacturing resources separately all over the world to improve their competitiveness. In the trend of globalization, ability of managing “Virtual Integration” will become one of the core competitive capabilities. This research is to investigate how to use the information technology and strategy to integrate the distributed manufacturing information by analyzing the issues faced by one of the domestic semiconductor manufacturers. Based on the results of the analysis, a framework of manufacturing information integration services is proposed to provide “Virtual Integrated Services” and reach the goal of supporting Globalization of Manufacturing”. In order to prove the feasibility of the proposed framework, this research takes the information integration and tracking of WIP(Work In Process) which is highly emphasized by production control staff as an example to implement a prototype for WIP Tracking System.
