MBA education has become a world trend with globalization, and MBA students between Taiwan and Mainland China will be the main force of future economic activities in the Asian-Pacific area, so their personality traits, work values and future career anchors will directly influence on the existence and future development of the enterprises in Taiwan and Mainland China. Therefore, it’s an important task to research the relative career anchors factors of this band of future economic activity main force. It is known from literatures both at home and abroad that personality traits and work values influence on person’s career anchors in some extent, and is one of the key factors for the enterprise to select or cultivate professional managers. So this study intends to find the relationship between personality traits, work values and career anchors so as to make the academia know the relative theory structure of personality traits, work values and career anchors widely and deeply, clearly understand the relationship between personality traits and work values, and the influence of work values on career anchors, and provide reference for Taiwan and Mainland China to employ high talents in future. In addition, this study reviews the relative literatures and statistical chart on work values both at home and abroad, which are not related to the work values statistical chart designed by MBA students. To achieve the main aims of the above research, study I builds a work values statistical chart suiting for MBA students between Taiwan and Mainland China by precise building process. The work values statistical chart in this study includes eight branch-statistical charts, such as: self-accomplishment, self-actualization, interaction for the society and interpersonal relation, work guarantee and pay, moral character and dignity, research and solution, security and avoiding anxiety, lie fallow and health and facilitation etc., which takes Likert-type seven point statistical chart, has 40 subjects, and is about 15 minutes for mean testing. The Cronbach a of statistical chart is between 0.8074 and 0.9197, and its correlation coefficient is between 0.397 and 0.603. It is found that it has excellent Cronbach and efficiency, and it can be provided to the scholor, who intends to research the work values of MBA students between Taiwan and Mainland China in the future for his reference after testing and proving. This study applies work values statistical chart of MBA students between Taiwan and Mainland China Study I builds into Study II to validate globality relative mode of personality traits, work values and career anchors. This study takes MBA students between Taiwan and Mainland China as objects to analyze and discuss, and takes Taiwan and Mainland China as research areas: in Taiwan, taking MBA class directory of R.O.C. of 2002 as maternal research structure; in Mainland China, taking 66 MBA key universities promulgated by Mainland China government as maternal research structure. The research area between Taiwan and Mainland China is divided into three: north (north China), Middle (Middle China) and south (South China). This study takes samples by stratified and purposive methods, and distributes 1300 papers in proportion to each research area, 540 papers in Taiwan and 760 papers in Mainland China, amounting to 1300 papers between Taiwan and Mainland China. Except the papers without complete filling, recovered 401 effective sampling papers in Taiwan, whose effective paper recovery rate was 74.25%; recovered 676 effective samples in Mainland China, whose effective paper recovery rate was 88.94%; and recovered 1077 samples between Taiwan and Mainland China, whose effective paper recovery rate was 82.84%. This study reaches the following five main conclusions: (1) The personality traits, work values and career anchors of MBA students between Taiwan and Mainland China are not completely same. (2) The personal varieties, such as: sex, marriage, age, college background, study journal and working experience have remarkable influence on work values and career anchors of MBA students between Taiwan and Mainland China. (3) Personality traits has remarkable influence on career anchors of MBA students between Taiwan and Mainland China. (4) Work values has remarkable influence on career anchors of MBA students between Taiwan and Mainland China. (5) Personality values has remarkable influence on work values of MBA students between Taiwan and Mainland China.
