Tissue engineering essentially consists of scaffold, cell, and grown factors. The scaffold is mainly supporting structure and plays a role of cell and grown factor carrier. The cells possess a native potential to arrange into tissues and organs under an appropriate environment. The growth factors of tissue-inducing substances are of importance such that enhance the development of tissues or organs. As far as ideal scaffold is concerned, many factors such as porosity, porous size, and mechanical property are needed to consider for investigation of the biodegradation in addition to chemistry and structure of materials used. In this study, a highly three-dimensional porous structure is designed by sinter processing, which used calcium phosphates and an additive as raw materials. Mechanical property, morphology, and weight change in in vitro were assessed. The results indicated mechanical property and weight loss decreased with increasing immersion time.
