Description
Summary:碩士 === 朝陽科技大學 === 應用化學系碩士班 === 90 === Abstract This thesis is focus on the study of sulfonamides under the ointment status. The effects of compositions of ointment base on the stability of both physical property and chemical property of sulfonamide ointment were investigated. Upon these investigations, we have revealed the optimal compositions of ointment base for manufacturing the sulfonamide ointment that is free of danger and harm while it is used to treat the patients. In addition, a simple, accurate, effective and efficient method for analyzing sulfonamide reagents using HPLC method was also proposed. The sulfonamide ointments with both oleaginous base and water-soluble base showed significant change in physical and chemical properties after they were stored under the conditions of 30℃ and 75% humidity for six months. However, the ointment with emulsion base could sustain the conditions of 42℃ and 75% humidity for six months and maintained the physical and chemical properties as it was first prepared. Based on the observations, it was suggested that the emulsion base be the better ointment base for preparing the sulfonamide ointments. The quantities of sulfadiazine, sulfathiazole and sulfamerazine in the sulfonamide ointment were determined using HPLC method. The analysis was carried out under the conditions of acetonitrile/2% acetic acid as the mobile phase, acetaminophen as the internal standard and detection of 254nm. The results suggested that the HPLC be an effective and efficient method to determine the compositions in the sulfonamide ointment. All the analysis could be completed in 15 minutes.
