Thus, we became the “Economic Taiwan miracle” and got well-known by the whole world. However, in 1986, because of the revaluation of exchange rate, the textile industry faced the strike against the change and experienced the unprecedented crisis and challenge. The goal of this study is try to find the competitive strategy of our textile industry. Therefore, the business persons could base on the strategy to adjust the direction of managing development, find the self-advantage and raise the competition of our textile industry in international market. Because of the greatly competition in the market, an enterprise has to know what the clients need. An enterprise must develop the new products in time to cater to the customers in order to raise the greatly competition in the market. So the study and development of the new products hold the leading position in the market-directed textile industry. The author has gone into the cloth industry for over 20 years and now makes an analysis about the rise and fall of this industry.
