These cylinders sizes are ∮12cm × 24cm with 2 kinds of strength, 4 kinds of confined spiral spacing, and 5 kinds of fire temperatures. The results show that concrete confined by spiral has better confined effects on the strength and ductility. The numbers of cracks in the concrete are also alleviated after fire-exposed tests. And the compressive strength of these cylinders can be maintained, even that they were exposed to temperatures exceed 800℃. Besides, based on mechanics and experiment data, analytical models were presented to predict compressive strength and corresponding strain of concrete confined by spiral.
