The results show that concrete confined by spiral has better confined effects on the strength and ductility. The numbers of cracks in the concrete are also alleviated after fire-exposed tests. And the compressive strength of these cylinders can be maintained, even that they were exposed to temperatures exceed 800℃. Besides, based on mechanics and experiment data, analytical models were presented to predict compressive strength and corresponding strain of concrete confined by spiral.
