Summary:碩士 === 逢甲大學 === 材料科學所 === 90 === It is well known that activated carbon fabric have relatively high specific surface areas .They are suitable for the fabrication of electric double layers capacitors electrodes. Cellulose activated carbon fabric is adopted as the starting material in this study. Carbon electrodes are made with the activated carbon material, which was carbonized to different temperature in the range of 800℃ to 1200℃, to obtain the high electrical conductivity. The effects of carbonization to the microstructures and the physical properties changes of activated carbon material will be studied; furthermore, and the performances of electric double-layers capacitors which were made of cellulose activated carbon fabric treated at different temperature will be discussed. After high temperature treatment, carbon material became much dense than before, the content of non-carbon elements were reduced in gassing form and the accompanied with the reduction of inner resistance of carbon electrode; therefore, the electrode consuming was reduced and the capacitance of electric double-layer capacitors was increased about 36% in our experiment results
