In the near future, users will access data, transfer files via internet in the manner that can break the limitation of steady location by equipped with wireless interface into their mobile computers. The ability of transmission with the feature of no constraints for time and space is called mobile computing, it is an important issue for the studies about Internet techniques. This thesis proposes a solution for movable subnet based on mobile IP protocol. The architecture proposed is named Mobile Network System, MNS. Based on Mobile IPv4, we modify the protocol of mobile IP to provide the ability of routing and management for the mobile network. It means that MNS is a movable subnet that can handle attachments of other mobile nodes. The prototype of MNS is shown in the thesis, it is compatible with the functions of Internet services for the demand of mobile computing. The thesis focus on the technique of routing protocol and the format of packet diagram on network layer. The goal of this study is to modify the protocol of mobile IP to provide the ability of routing and management for the mobile network, that is, a subnet that can move via the wireless environment and permit the attachment of mobile node to the subnet.
